A POINT OF CONTEMPLATION!!

Ya Ali madad!


هُوَ الَّذِيَ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ في قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاء الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاء تَأْوِيلِهِ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلاَّ اللّهُ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ
{آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ رَبِّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلاَّ أُوْلُواْ الألْبَابِ {3:7

He it is Who has revealed the Book to you; some of its verses are decisive, they are the basis of the Book, and others are allegorical; then as for those in whose hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. but none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind except those having understanding. [3:7]

Tafseer:

1. Usool e Kafi: It is recorded by Abdul Rehman bin Kaseer that Imam Jaffer e Sadiq(as) said, the decisive verses, which are the basis of the Book, are Ameerul Momineen(as) and Aeymmah e Huda(as), and the allegorical are adversative of Ameerul Momeneen(as), and Ameerul Momineen(as) and Ayemmah(as) are rasikhouna fil ilm.

2. Usool e Kafi: Imam Mohammed Baqar(as) is recorded to have said, People have started talking in the Quran, even though the Quranic verses are of two types, some verses are decisive which are the basis of the Book, and some are allegorical and no one has the knowledge of thier exegesis except Allah and the rasikhun fil ilm, mansookh verses are related to the allegorical verses, and the decisive verses are nasikh.

3. Usool e Kafi: It is narrated by Ibn e Shabarma that, I have heard by Imam Jaffer e Sadiq(as) a narration that almost made my heart burst, He(as) quoted that Rasul Allah(saw) said, whosoever acts upon analogies puts himself as well as others in perdition, and whosoever passes a judgment to people without the knowledge of nasikh - mansookh, decisive - allegoric, puts himself as well as others in perdition.

4. Tafseer e Noor Ul Saqalain: Imam Jaffer Sadiq(as) is recorded to have said, we are rasikhun fil ilm.

5. Oyun e Akhbar e Raza(as): Imam Ali Raza(as) said: The one who returns the allegoric in Quran to the decisive, he shall be destined to the guidance of Sirat e Mustaqeem, and like the Quran, allegoric traditions are present in our traditions, and like the decisive in the Quran, decisive traditions are present in our traditions.


NOTE:

It has been made clear that only Allah and rasikhum fil ilm have the knowledge of mohkam and mutashabeh (decisive and allegoric) and ONLY Ayemmah(as) are rasikhum fil ilm, and apart from Ayemmah(as) no one can claim to be rasikhum fil illm. Further more, Rasul Allah(saw) prohibits acting upon analogies, and since NO ONE can claim to have the knowledge that Allah has reserved for Himself and his Chosen Ones anything anyone says with referance to it will come under QAYAS.. therefore any mujtahid .. claiming that he can pass judgements with reference to Quran and Hadith e Masoom(as) will not only put himself in perdition, but his followers also.
